EXE Errors

One of the most common error messages are various EXE type errors. These errors are very frustrating since they may happen any time: when you start an application, when using an application or when loading the windows. Sometimes they are inconsistent – you will see them once or twice then they disappear. But other EXE errors are persistent and will show up every time you perform a certain function. In some cases, a simple system reboot is all that takes to get rid of these pesky messages. Here are some of the EXE errors you may encounter.

If you are using Internet Explorer to browse internet, you might get an “iexplore” or “explorer” EXE error message. This comes up whenever there is an incompatibility issue between Explorer and some other application. Error message that references spoolsv.exe is hardware related. It might be that the printer driver is not properly installed or is obsolete. Unlike these simple errors, there are other EXE errors that are more serious in nature. One of this is winlogon.exe which effectively prevents you from logging into the system. Another potentially damaging error concerns svchost. This file coordinates the loading of different service programs on your PC.
